>Better Not Tell You Now
Tuesday. Got a sad email from Ben. Last night I dreamed that I was in some indoor arena with a crowd of other people. Someone in charge was telling us to get into groups of five or six to play soccer. I got into a group but then realized that Leon was the sixth person in that group so I had to find a new one. I decided to just keep moving around and play with all the groups so that I wouldn't get into trouble for not having a group of my own. Later in the dream, I was hanging out with a lady robot who could dance just like Brittney Spears. It was creepy.
Today is the scary meeting at work. I hope that someone will sub for me at the station.
I'm listening to: Preston School of Industry.
Oh my god: Graeme Downs has a new record coming out on Matador!!
What the?: Why does my blog still think that it's public?
I'm confused.

>¿En Que Te Piensas carino?
Monday. I wanted to post last night but Leon spent too much time on the computer. I got tired and went to bed. Yesterday I spent too much money and drank too much wine. I also remembered that we are supposed to go camping this weekend, so we had to buy a new ice chest and stuff. Vamos a camping. We're going to Castle Lake, near Shasta. I've been trying to research the campground, but I can't find much information.
Job stuff:HP is planning to cut 6,000 jobs. We are both worried. On Tuesday I have a meeting at work called "Managing Change". Yes, but what kind of change?! Niki, you will now be in charge of picking the staples out of the carpet, and we will cut your salary in half to meet our payroll budget. Fuck, dood. That would be terrible.
Okay, the new Planet of The Apes was a stupid movie. Do not go see it. It was beyond corny, with lines like "can't we all just get along?", and other nonsense. The action figures are bad too.
My arm still looks nasty from giving blood 4 days ago. Don't touch my arm!! It's also sore from shooting hoops yesterday. Hey, I'm not as bad as I thought, because somehow I beat Leon at Horse.
But basketballs seem so unforgiving. If someone passed me the ball during the game, I would probably just dodge it. If it hit me, I'd be creamed.
Three things I wish I had right now: A big bunch of lavender, the Dolly Mixture CD, and a nice pair of Clarks.

>Even the print of the newspaper she's reading is beautiful
Saturday. I got up this morning around 8:30 am. I talked to Becky for a little bit. She was calling to tell me that Poppa wasn't doing too well and was in the hospital. She's pretty upset, I can't imagine. She and Justin have been cleaning out his house, they expect to move in soon. We all knew that Poppa saved things, but I guess it's pretty extreme. She told me how she threw away tons of styrene meat trays, Kentucky Fried Chicken spork and wet nap packs from 1960, newspapers and just bits and junk. It turns out that he's in the same hospital as my grandmother. I haven't seen her in about 2 years. The last time, she didn't know who I was. My mom goes fairly often, she's probably the only one.
So I just layed around and watched Twin Peaks episodes all day, and slept. I wonder if I have mono again.
Last night I went to Todd's house to see Denise's band play. The Tangles played too. They're always so loud. We said hello to everyone and goodbye to no one. We were going to see Jonathan Richman afterwards, but then we found out that it cost 10 bucks. Think of how much food we can buy fot 10 bucks. We decided not to go. Instead we tried to watch a movie but we fell asleep. Thank goodness I get free videos. I woke up later to the ghetto bird calling out a description of some guy they were looking for. They were still doing it this morning. Why would some suspected robber still be hiding over here? It kills me. Bad food: Calzones from the co-op, veggie chicken from Shanghi Garden.
Raw deal: The video store doesn't have the last two Twin Peaks episodes.
Habit: Napping.
On the radio: This American Life

>More Hits For The Lover In You
Okay, here's the first post. Don't expect anything special because it might take me a while to get into this. Today is Friday. What a funny week. Each day didn't feel like the day it was supposed to be. I kept thinking that Wednesday was Thrursday and so forth. I'll try to enjoy the weekend, though it looks as if I'll be pretty busy. Last night I went down to Retrofit to see Mark and Calvin play. Very exciting. Calvin played two Halo Benders songs, a DNSS song and "Ambulence Drive Blues" acapella. Mark Robinson played a couple of Unrest songs, and that made me very happy. TC came down to see it too, he seemed pleased. He Rijk and I stood around and they told me some funny station stories. I always enjoy those. The floor there is increibly hard and gave me a back ache. It was worth it though. Sometimes I just get so disenchanted with people in Sacramento.
