Top 5 inspired Whitey's Jolly Kone.

1. Crushed ice in a styrofoam cup.
2. Grilled cheese on wonderbread.
3. Large fries size is actually pretty large.
4. Kone, with a K.
5. All this lunch for about $3.50.

Viva la kone.

The only thing going for Sacramento

I celebrated the season opener by screwing on my shiny new Sacramento Kings liscence plate frame and picking up my tickets for the next 4 games. Here's to chilly, foggy nights at Arco Arena and red-nosed, parka-ed fans all abuzz with cheery, goodwill victory shouts as we walk to our cars.

I always cry at weddings.

It's over. Saturday was the wedding. I'm through with planning, spending and dressing up, at least until I start over on my own wedding. I'm beat, but you know what? You can't kill the rooster.

What?

Are these real diamonds?
What?! You're the jeweler.

Sent from the desk of my emo postcard factory.

My sleep was interrupted at 2:24 am this morning. A train passing westward let the breath of autumn escape from it's cars, sending a rattle though my window shades. Before I left for work, I helped myself to a sweater, scarf and long socks. My friend would say that it's fruitcake weather.

Totally Girls Go Nuts Weekend

My whole body hurts. I made friends with a popular brand of citrus vodka, had three double shots of the stuff, danced, danced, sang and danced. In the morning I woke up feeling like a prize champ. My body ached, I slept heavily and watched too much digital cable. And I'm sitting here now. Clutching my neck which feels stiff and tense from the Thriller-zombie dance I vaguely recall trying to emulate.

Absolut party animal.

Bubbles.

It's all about bubbles. They're kind of kooky, kind of crazy. And you know - everybody loves bubbles.

Selly McCheapsake

That's all I'm going to say about that.

When your body turns against you.

Sometimes the medicine that you take to fix up is worse than what you're sick with. I can live with abdominal pain if I don't get headaches, nausea, the jitters and vivid, gory nightmares.

And then...

And then on the way back, I stopped in 1982 and I bought some Chocodiles, a box of nice mice and Dr. Pepper gum. But you can't have any.

Mr. Wells, I'll have her back by midnight.

Yesterday I ran into H.G. Wells and he let me borrow his time machine.

My first order of business was to go back to 1997 and order a veggie burrito from Pescados. Whole pintos instead of black beans and substitute cheese for guacamole.

Then I went back to 1996 and broke up with him before he broke up with me.

And then it was off to 1986 to view Halley's Comet, because I missed it the first time around.

Then I travelled on to 1964 where I saw the Beatles play live. I screamed like all the other girls and cried.
I made out with Paul and convinced him to become a vegetarian.

And finally, I went to 1936 where I bought tons of fabulous bakelite bangles.

Goo-ey

I really don't have anything to write about. This weekend was wild. I stole my sister's boyfriend. It was all a whirlwind, heat and flash. Within a week we killed my parents and hit the road.

Back and ready for action.

We spent most of our time in Manhattan.

And riding on the subway.

I only saw a couple of rats though.

I got some cute diesel shoes that are not at all like this.

We went to the biggest Macy's in the world.

Ate many slices of pizza.

Spotted Chloe Sevigny on 5th ave.

Went to the tops of buildings.

Got engaged on a pretty cast iron bridge in Central Park.

Saw beautiful art by Egon Schiele.

Did some shopping.

And more shopping.

Marvelled at lots of architecture.

And we did many other things that I didn't even mention. Then we came home and let Sacramento have us again.
