Captain Foot In Mouth.
I was just sitting in the lunch room, eating with my co-workers. I brought a couple of trashy "US" type magazines to browse through while I ate my salad. I love to hate these magazines. They're poorly written, they have lots and lots of pictures and they're filled with unfounded gossip. But I can't seem to ever put them down. Last night I saw the latest Star magazine at the grocery check out. It had my favorite kind of feature: "CELEBRITY FLAWS!" Flab, cellulite, large HANDS! Inside, there was a spread of about 6 celebs missing fingers, parts of fingers or with weird fingers! I was shocked at how many I never noticed. Did you know about Denzel's pinky finger? I sure didn't! So anyway, I'm excitedly recounting this part about the fingers to my lunch mates when I remember that I'm within earshot of another co-worker, who is actually missing fingers.
Oops.
I tried to recover. I didn't say anything too damaging, and tried to emphasize that I was just shocked that I didn't know about the celeb fingers (or lack thereof). But she just dropped by my office to drop something off and was awfully quiet. It's just that she hides it so well, that I forgot she was missing a few too!

Constant Pony Tail Time
I'm in that weird stage of hair, where it's so long, that I really don't know what to do with it besides make a pony tail. I want to cut it, but I'd rather spend 40 bucks at H&M in the UK...aw damn!
I was looking for something to listen to today and I found this motown comp. I can't believe that whoever put this together totally violated the comp laws by putting two Supremes songs and two Marvin Gaye songs right next to eachother. I was all "what the...I...uh....wha?!"
I want so badly to go home now. I'm tired, anxious and grumpy.

Dear Quorn,
I recently bought a box of Quorn sausage style links. I was not impressed. The links had an overpowering onion scent and taste that I just couldn't handle. While, the texture was very appealing, the flavor was so unplesant that I had to throw away the whole box. Unfortunately, the store that I purchased them from (Sacramento Natural Foods Co-op) does not accept returns on open perishables that are not defective. As a result, I'm out $3.79. Would it be possible for Quorn to reimburse my loss with a coupon or certificate for Quorn products? I am very happy with your chicken-style products.
I would greatly appreciate that.
Thank you,
Teeni

Evie
If I could make time stop, or clone myself, I would be in much better shape. Here's what's on my agenda these days:
1. Getting our loan finalized and the keys to our new house by next week so that we can move in before we go on tour.
2. Duh. Going on tour. We leave for two weeks in the UK and Sweden on July 20. There's still some loose ends. T-shirt making, getting to the airport, making some money so that we can eat when we get there.
3. Making dollars. Two ways: work, where I am busy planning, waiting, calling, begging. And then that yard sale tomorrow, for which I'm still gathering items to sell. I guess I don't need that many purses anymore.
My head is spinning from all of this.
Just too much to do.
