Guess who's going to be a garden gnome for Halloween? Ira! I finally cranked out a little gnome suit. It only boggled my brain for about 3 weeks. I figured out how to make it, but it's not exactly perfect. It works though. He hates it! Will this be fodder for years of therapy? Maybe.

These days, I'm all back to normal. Except my hair! I'm having the toughest time with my little bang-lettes. I lost so much hair after I had Ira and even though it's all growing back now, it's at a very weird length that doesn't want to play with the rest of my hair. I feel so grubs lately, I hate it! Should I start wearing headbands? Get a weave? Cast your vote!
Hey! My baby is one year old today. Know what? He is taking little baby steps now. Two or three little strides and he collapses in my arms, all smiles and laughs. So precious.
Just look at this guy. He's turning 1, but dad-gum if he's still a wee little baby to me. I guess moms are always supposed to feel that way about their kids. Oh man! I keep forgetting I'm somebody's mom. Ok, everybody chill out, no pressure!
In preparation for the baby's party this Saturday, I'm trying to clear out all the old baby toys. Our house currently looks like a day care center. Toys strewn about and if you step on something sticky, it's likely to be some kind of mushed up bread with some amount of sunflower seed butter and pureed fruit. That's my life!
Ira spent most of the last few days extremely unhappy. I felt around his gums to see if he's cutting any new teeth. Sure enough. He's got four coming in right now. Three incisors and one molar. Ay, ay, ay! This poor dude.
