Joshua Ploeg will be in town while I'm in DC next week. I would have like to have tried to weasel my way into the dinner he's doing on the 17th. Out of luck. Anyway, I was thinking of him this morning because NPR had a Hidden Kitchens episode on today. This guy totally needs to be interviewed by the Kitchen Sisters.

Josh is catering this 4 day event that the Bananas are part of (Rose too) in the bay area this weekend. Though I hear maybe he's just gonna pre-make a bunch of stuff & not necessarily be on hand the whole time. So basically it won't be like my initial fantasy where he's just sitting behind a little stove cooking whatver I demand.
