We went to Big Sur and it was gorgeous. Sure it rained a lot, but we were able to get out for sightseeing and hiking in the breaks when it didn't rain too much.
Like going to the aquarium in Monterey.

We ate at a great italian restaurant in Carmel, that unfortunately had some service problems.
We saw the most beautiful parts of the California coast that exist.
The sun made a brief appearance, so we went to watch it set at this beach.
And at night we retired to this cute little cabin.

I think we did this exact vacation for our anniversary last year - Big Sur is for lovers. Happy knot-tying! :)
