1. Wait until your favorite clothing stores get a couple of weeks into their new season lines. Then, hit the clearance racks, because there's good findings in there. Even if they're not really winter clothes per se, it never really gets that cold in Sacramento anyway. Sleeveless shirt? Holiday party. Classic open-toed shoes? Just wait until spring. 3/4 sleeve shirts? Throw on a sweater and no one knows.
